Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Quiss Technology, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. We are dedicated to providing energy-efficient products and implementing eco-friendly practices across our business.
Energy-Efficient Laptops
We supply HP G10 laptops, particularly those that are ENERGY STAR certified, which are known for their energy efficiency. Some models consume as little as 28.5 kWh per year and 115 watts when tested. As we transition to supplying the G11 versions, we are excited about their enhanced sustainability features. The HP EliteBook 660 G11 Notebook, for instance, incorporates ocean-bound plastics, recycled metal, and post-consumer recycled plastic, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious users seeking high-performance laptops.
Green Practices in Our Operations
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our products. We use energy-efficient lighting throughout our facilities and have integrated a fleet of electric vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint.
Sustainable Delivery Services
We partner with DPD for our next-day delivery services, a company renowned for its commitment to green energy. DPD has confirmed all-electric delivery status for numerous towns and cities and plans to expand this initiative. "As a Marketing Executive, I am deeply passionate about the role of charity in our business. Supporting organisations like St Giles Hospice and Birmingham Children's Hospital is not just a duty but a heartfelt commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. These charities provide essential services and support to vulnerable individuals and families, and our involvement helps amplify their impact.
Moreover, engaging in local community work is crucial for fostering a sense of unity and purpose. By actively participating in community initiatives, we strengthen our bonds with those around us and contribute to the well-being of our neighbours. Charity work enriches our company culture, inspires our team, and underscores our dedication to creating a better, more compassionate world."

“1 in 5 families live below the poverty line, over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks is donated by the public and enables families to have a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food. It’s so important we donate when we can as we really can make a difference to vulnerable people and their families."
- Wendy Wragg
Employee Wellness
Mental health is a crucial aspect for employers, as it significantly impacts employee well-being and productivity. At Quiss Technology, we recognise this importance and have dedicated first aid trained Mental Wellbeing Champions within our team. These champions host regular events and actively promote good mental health practices, ensuring that our employees have access to the support and resources they need to maintain their mental well-being. By fostering a culture of mental health awareness and support, Quiss is committed to creating a positive and healthy work environment for all.
Supporting our local Community
In 2024, Quiss Technology initiated a partnership with Two Rivers Primary School in Amington, Tamworth, as part of our commitment to supporting the local community. This school specialises in providing tailored care and education for children with special educational needs, ensuring each child’s unique requirements are met. Our initial project involved donating over 130 Easter eggs, ensuring every student had a treat to take home and enjoy for Easter. We are proud to confirm that this initiative has continued this year, with another delivery of 150 Easter eggs.
In addition to this, we have further supported Two Rivers by contributing to their garden restoration program. Our goal was to help rejuvenate the garden for the children to use and enjoy, providing planters, compost, plants, paint, and brushes to help bring this project to life.
Two Rivers Primary School is committed to creating a nurturing environment where all students can thrive, and we are proud to support their efforts.

Making a Difference: Quiss' Charity Involvement
At Quiss Technology, we believe that charity starts at home. We take pride in recognising and supporting various charities throughout the year, raising their profiles within our business and holding mini fundraising events. From Macmillan Coffee Mornings to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are dedicated to making a difference.
Over the past few years, we have been heavily involved with Birmingham Children's Hospital, contributing donations amounting to over £5000. This year, we have forged a new partnership with St Giles Hospice. As a local charity in Whittington, St Giles Hospice provides specialist care and support for patients living with terminal illnesses, offering services free of charge at the hospice or in the community. With only 18% of their funding coming from the government, they rely heavily on donations and community support to continue their vital work. So far, we have organised several mini fundraising events to raise money for the hospice, including a sponsored walk planned in July at Carsington Waters, where many Quiss employees will participate.
Additionally, we are committed to expanding our charitable efforts by supporting more local initiatives and encouraging our employees to get involved. At Quiss, we believe that supporting charitable causes is not just a responsibility but a privilege. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, and together, we can create a better future for those in need.
