Attracting an audience of CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors and heads of digital technology from a range of mid-market law firms, the Alternative Legal IT conference was recently held at Wyboston Lakes Resort in which Quiss Technology was named the headline sponsor.
Offering a curated and content-driven programme that allowed guests to network and socialise in a comfortable setting, the event had previously built a strong reputation for its facilitation of meaningful relationships, whilst educating guests on a range of relevant issues and topics.
With this year’s event marking the fifteenth of the series, it’s fair to say the success experienced in previous years has played an important role in its growth and development, as this year’s agenda was both researched and designed by industry leaders with a focus on providing a strategic roadmap for client’s technology, sustainability and profitability.
As always, it was great to see some familiar faces at the event, including Susan Glenholme from Debenhams Ottaway who delivered an insightful session during the legal management section of the event. We also caught up with Oliver Tromp of Action Step, Matthew Pryke at Hamlins and Wendy Edwards from Attwaters – like-minded specialists that share our passion and commitment for excellence.
Commenting on its success, Andy Hawley at Quiss Technology, said:
“From the opening session, the entire event ran smoothly with guests taking full advantage of the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with an audience made up of industry leaders and influencers.
“As Headline sponsor, we were thrilled to network with lots of existing acquaintances and many new ones to. Our alternative lighthearted look at AI with our AI photobooth, was a great hit transporting everyone back to the ’80s.
“As always, we’d like to say a big thank you to Alternative Events for organising a hugely successful event, with a special mention for Emily Jenkins and Steve Parrot who we collaborated with to make a series of promotional videos in the run up to the event. Roll on Alternative Legal 2025 – we look forward to seeing you all next year!”
