Black Country is Bostin

We may have a national and at times international dimension to our managed IT service offering, but thanks to Quiss’ own ‘Black Country’ bloke, Commercial Services Manager Matt Rhodes, we are definitely more in touch with our West Midlands roots.

Not only have we recently become patrons of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, but Matt is spreading the Black Country message as the least hairy member of the Black Country Bearded Bandits – not a team of hirsute highwaymen, but a group of likeminded chaps raising money to fight cancer with a Movember campaign.

Believed to be the only such group of all Black Country types, they are trying to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause, having all personally been touched in some way by the devastating impact cancer has on families.

Everyone at Quiss from the helpdesk team to the network engineers on the road are supporting Matt’s attempt at covering the front of his face in hair – the top gave up years ago.

The hope is that not only will Matt and his Black Country cohorts raise a lot money, but that Matt’s moustache is finally luxuriant enough for him to be accepted into a Village People tribute act; a lifelong dream of his.

So please dig deep and support Matt and his friends in this great cause – you will help beat cancer and also help Matt get closer to his dream of singing YMCA without the need for a stick on moustache.
