Quiss chosen as hosting partner

18/08/2016

Quiss Technology has been chosen as the hosting partner for Cygnia, one of the UK’s leading cyber-security specialists, who sought a partner with a robust, reliable and above all high quality solution to host their managed services platform.

Alongside a range of security services and penetration testing, Cygnia offers managed services on firewalls with updates, monitoring and running of the system under their direction. The equipment belongs to Cygnia, but Quiss provide the space, power and physical security, together with monitoring of the servers.

Quiss Technology’s Commercial Services Manager, Matt Rhodes commented: “This agreement is the latest in a number of hosting partnerships and reflects the quality of our hosting service.

“We have recently worked on a number of joint ventures with Cygnia, playing to the respective strengths of each business. For our latest shared client Cygnia are taking care of the security aspects of the project and we are providing IT infrastructure support.

“Total peace of mind is assured for the client, with Cygnia managing firewalls and cyber-security and Quiss providing network support, server and storage support, together with support for the client’s end users provided by our 30-strong helpdesk available 24/7/365.

“The decision to use our hosting centre to colocate the managed services platform of a business the calibre of Cygnia, demonstrates the quality of our service and the strength of our support, both central to the Quiss offering.

“We continue to invest in the future of our hosting centre to allow us to welcome more hosting partners, whether it’s to host a managed services platform or a Software as a Service offering.”
