Grindeys Solicitors, a large regional law firm based in Stoke on Trent, have selected Quiss Technology to provide day to day management support for their IT systems.
Grindeys employ over 200 people who provide legal advice to both private individuals and businesses. The success of this firm is due to a combination of client focused employees who are supported by a sophisticated IT system that helps them to be organised, efficient and compliant with regulatory demands.
The role of the internal IT team is to focus on IT strategy including the development of new applications to drive business growth. However, the team were spending too much time on day to day management issues. Grindeys offer expertise in several areas of law including residential and commercial property, family and divorce, wills and probate, employment, dispute resolution and business law. With such a diverse range of services, the day to day demand on the internal team was too high so outsourcing some tasks was an obvious solution.

Our proposed solution will allow Grindeys to rationalise their IT systems and infrastructure. They will then switch to Microsoft Azure and Office 365 to deliver the consumption-based services, preferred by the firm’s forward-thinking IT Manager, Neil Lench.
