Andy is a hands-on MD with an extensive knowledge of both the IT sector and the issues clients face – ensuring he is well-placed to offer effective solutions which improve business efficiencies and provide time and cost-savings.
Andy enjoys listening to rock and country music and is the proud owner of eight guitars which he hopes to one day play as well as his idol, Slash – the former lead guitarist with Guns n Roses. He likes to keep busy and spends his spare time watching West Ham, indulging his passion for classic cars, growing vegetables on his allotment, building valve amplifiers and reading books.
She is therefore very familiar with the industry and brings with her a vast amount of experience to assist with driving our Support team forward.
She is the first point of contact for our customers and ensures that we are satisfactorily managing all escalations, that our helpdesk are focused on the right calls at the right time and managing expectations accordingly.
Claire’s spare time is mainly taken up with her 2 young children but when she does have some downtime she enjoys socialising and reading.
His core skills come to the fore when engaged in a consultative role to help clients address strategic issues with their IT systems and infrastructure or help them move their businesses forward.
Our service offering continues to grow and evolve to better reflect the changing needs of our clients. The growing complexity of the solutions delivered ensures Clive is heavily involved in IT audits and the scoping of projects, prior to making recommendations for improvement. Qcloud represents a significant growth area and Clive works with our sales and technical teams to help tailor our hosting offering to the unique requirements of each client, whether it’s Private, Public or a Hybrid solution that works best.
Clive remains personally involved in key account management, always on hand to advise and discuss the merits or otherwise of the ever-changing technical landscape.
Away from work, which isn’t for too long, Clive finds just enough time for a little sport, with golf, squash and football high on his agenda. Like many of the team here in Tamworth, Clive is a Villa fan, but not enough of one to buy the club – so don’t ask.
David has extensive experience and has been involved in the IT Industry for nearly 30 years. After starting his career for ACT Pulsar back in Nov 1982 (became Apricot Computers in April 1983) David moved to the service arm of Apricot (A.C.T. Computer Support later to become Network Si Group Limited) after 5 years. We are now delighted to have David onboard sharing his expertise with all of our clients.
David played basketball for many years and was even capped for England before injury forced him into retirement. He then took up the mantle of referee and has refereed teams like Birmingham Bullets, Manchester Giants along with some international games.
He joined Quiss as a Field Service Engineer in January 1989 when the company was still in its infancy, being promoted initially to Field Service Manager in September 1993. Ian has been in his current role since September 1996.
He enjoys the great outdoors and is also a very keen music fan.
He has covered a range of positions within the service department. Ian is ITIL qualified and in his customer service role, Ian regularly attends client review meetings.
Ian is a family man and keen football fan. His spare time is also taken up on his allotment and his competitive craft brewing.
He provides support on all Microsoft Office applications and creates decustomised document workflow automation, templates and house styles.
With over 14 years experience in the development, delivery and management of IT training on Microsoft and bespoke applications, as well as the custom development of automated Microsoft Office based applications clients are in safe hands with James.
James supports Manchester United and is a season ticket holder, much to the dismay of the vast majority of his colleagues.
Prior to Circyl, Jason founded Ridgian and owned and ran it as Managing Director before selling it to Ricoh in 2015.
Jason is strategy and sales focused within the company and draws on his 27 years in the IT business and broad market knowledge. Coming from a technical background he can empathise with business users, business owners and technical audiences.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, is partial to the odd game of golf, loves music of all kinds – playing piano, listening and attending concerts and is mad on technology gadgets.
He is an experienced and highly motivated technical manager, with a proven track record of managing large and diverse technical teams to deliver enterprise scale projects, on time, to scope and within budget.
Jason prides himself on being an effective communicator with the ability to influence, inspire and develop colleagues. He is a big fan of technology and takes great interest in the ingenious uses to which it can be put and the competitive advantage it can deliver for any organisation, regardless of size or sector.
Born in Tamworth, Jason is returning to his roots and trying to spend time out of the office with his family. He loves all forms of motorsport, two wheels or four and is known for his competitive approach to every sporting challenge.
Matt is also responsible for developing sales of our managed IT services along with the resale of all IT hardware and software.
Although he has a comprehensive technical IT background, Matt is a true salesman, but one who believes in selling clients what they need, not what is easiest for us.
It’s not all sales though as Matt is adept at helping our customers understand how new technology can help them achieve their business goals, which often involves nothing but his expert advice, based on years of experience (he is older than he looks!).
Matt loves his time at the gym and at weekends he still pretends he can ride a motocross bike in the mud.
His remit includes developing our hosting facilities and help transition clients from on premise to Cloud-based solutions.
In his new role as Head of Cloud Services, Paul not only manages our own dedicated hosting infrastructure, but also works closely with our sales team to develop the commercial offering of our Cloud-based solutions. He is also responsible for ensuring adherence to ISO 27001 policies and procedures within the data centre and for maintaining its technical documentation, together with resource planning for our Cloud services.
Paul believes that high quality client services will remain a key driver to our continued success and expects to play a significant part in our future success. When away from long hours in the office, this dedicated father of two enjoys spending time on his vegetable patch.
Having come from a technical background, Rohen is continually intrigued at the way in which new technology can be deployed to propel a business forward or improve the customer experience.
Challenging the sentiment of “we have always done it like that” is often the first step in this journey!
Rohen enjoys building, mentoring and developing technical teams so they are empowered to achieve great things, especially through collaboration. Having a clear set of common goals that are communicated and shared business-wide, has been the foundation to previous success.
Outside of the office, Rohen enjoys spending time with friends/family, mountain biking, swimming, socialising and more recently, learning to ski, although he is yet to master his unicycle! When he sits down he loves to read or watch sports such as NFL, Rugby and UFC.
With her team, she is focused on finding talent, keeping team members happy and keeping them motivated. Her role touches all business disciplines, ensuring the team member experience, right from the first point of contact through to team member exit is a rewarding and memorable one.
Her BA Hons degree in Sociology and Psychology, coupled with her background in the outsourcing, Managed Services and Professional Services space made her a valued addition to the management team. As we grow through financial success, Shelley is focused on delivering high impact recruitment strategies.
Shelley heads up the performance management and development function within Quiss. Her aggressive use of SMART targeting and goal planning to increase and maintain productivity across all teams from sales to technical services is used across all business areas.
In her spare time, when not running, attending yoga and meditation classes or salsa dancing, Shelley enjoys her time with her children and husband. Travelling and pushing the boundaries are also high on her agenda.
Simon has worked at all levels of service delivery including Incident Management, Problem Management and Transition Management before moving into leadership roles, giving him an excellent all round view of ITIL.
With many professional qualifications under his belt including ITIL and Prince 2 Practitioner, Simon’s responsibilities include leading the service desk, site engineers and field teams.
Simon is a self-confessed geek and when he does get some free time enjoys gaming or reading a good sci-fi novel. He’s also a festival fan and tries to get to Glastonbury every year (if he can get through the nightmare of the ticket purchase!). He is also a long suffering Bolton Wanderers fan.
With primary responsibility for the recruitment and retention of staff, and the development of internal working systems, she works closely with the other directors on product development and service delivery.
Suzanne is a serial investor in new business start ups and acts as a business angel to a number of IT related companies. She is also passionate about music and reading and actively involved in charity work.
As well as managing our partnerships with leading telephony manufacturers like Avaya & Mitel together with service providers like Exponential E, Virgin, TalkTalk, BT, Vodafone, O2, and Claranet.
Terry brings over 29 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry into our portfolio. His knowledge is being widely used to help both our existing and growing client base to understand the benefits of converged telephony, VoIP and hosted voice solutions to their businesses.
He also enjoys the outdoors but non strenuous activities such as clay pigeon shooting and fishing. On occasional days he can even be found in the odd bunker on his local golf course when he can get out for a round of golf.
She is responsible for all aspects of marketing from supporting the Sales team with their specific campaigns, to the development and launch of the new website, our presence at relevant trade shows, conferences and exhibitions, customer communications, brand awareness and promotions.
Outside of work Tracy is a lover of exercise, animals and holidays. Her spare time is taken up either at the gym, walking her dog or planning her next vacation!
